I gave blogging a good solid shot, I thought I could help people save money, be frugal and coupon maybe I could even make a few bucks along the way. Apparently its just not for me, because no matter what I did, I couldn't get a good following, and the ones who were following didn't  become involved, so that tells me, that my content just didn't "cut the mustard" lol And that is ok, I am happy with my decision, I honestly want to give my family more of my time anyway. I have a husband and two beautiful boys to wrap my life around and that is enough for me. I pray this finds you all in a good place and if you dont know my Savior Jesus Christ that you will find him and live your life completely for him. He really is the best friend you could ever have! OK, so I haven't mentioned this in awhile. Paybox is a PayPal type of company, specifically for digitally delivered goods. I was having a problem with a big "gap" between my first and second post on my blog. No matter what setting I tweaked, I couldnt figure out what the problem was. It, quite honestly, was driving me bonkers! I will cut to the chase and save a lot of searching for those interested, and give the instructions on how to correct this problem. This is probably elementary and I just didnt know how to fix it until now, but her is the solution:

 On Blogger, from your blog, click on "design" and it should come up automatically to "page elements". On "blog posts" click on "edit". Then, here is the big step, UNCHECK Show Ads Between Posts. 
That will take care of that big gap between the first and second post on your blog. Brilliant, simply brilliant!!! :))

Haute Frugality Slogan Contest!

Ok! So, I am just starting out on my blogging journey, late bloomer, I know. *sigh*  I think this would be the perfect opportunity to have a contest! As of right now, I have only 12 'likes' on my facebook page and 3 Google Friend Connect friends and 4 Twitter followers, less than a month at it, not too bad. But I would love to have more friends to share with. The more the merrier, right? Well, I want to promote my site some more, so I was thinking I need a slogan. Something catchy, a play on words maybe? I have come up with a few, but I think I need some new ideas and what better way to do that than to have some of my good friends help me? This will be a very simple contest. What I want you all to do is 'Share' this contest with your friends (remember, the more the merrier?), and get them in on the fun. The one with the most creative, catchy slogan wins. If I cant decide which I like best, then I will post my favorites and have a vote. As I said earlier, I am just starting out, so the prize is not a big one, it will be a $5 Starbucks card! But, the more friends and followers I get the better the contests and prizes will get.
